Loved the podcast. Listened to episodes while I was doing a solo backcountry hunt or trip so I didn’t feel so alone with some of your wild stories! Looking forward to learning more from you on other platforms.
Been loving the show. Remi breaks things down for anyone to understand. It’s easy to see that he speaks from experience
Simply the best western hunting podcast. This guy gives out real, valuable advice in every single episode.
Practical, engaging, dynamic. I really love this podcast because it’s super informational. And then the host takes time to answer questions every few episodes that I would assume he accumulates on social media and other places. I really like the range of topics that he covers. And I also enjoy how straightforward the advice is.
When the first episode of CTD (minus Remi) came out, I wrote this: “CTD used to be THE BEST podcast for actual hunting tips and tactics. If episode 1 of the new CTD with Jason Phelps is indicative of things to come, I’ll be spending my time elsewhere. This episode was simply a commercial for MeatEater x Phelps’ “Line 1” $300 boutique pot call. Who the heck are they even marketing to these days? MeatEater is in that period of a company’s growth where they need to make a decision - is this about the money or the content? Ditching Remi Warren for Jason Phelps may be an indicator. Hoping that episode1 was just a very weak start”. Today I tried to listen to the latest episode about elk biology. What a disaster. I get the impression that Phelps doesn’t want to do or doesn’t enjoy doing this podcast. Maybe it’s forced on him. I dunno, he’s an icon in the industry but this podcast went from a top 5 to an unsubscribe. Y’all messed up when you parted ways with Remi.
This used to be my favorite podcast because it was so packed with real life hunting tactics. Now it’s just entertainment like a lot of other hunting podcast. I found remi’s new podcast called live wild and gave it a subscribe to continue my education.
