The Squeeze

by Taylor Lautner

When life gives you lemons, what do you do with them? Over here at The Squeeze—we talk about it—"it" being our mental health and well being. Host Taylor Lautner's (no, not that guy, but she is married to that guy) introduction to mental health was at a young age, witnessing friends and family suffer in ways she couldn't fully understand. She started a nursing career in the peak of the pandemic and has been struggling with her own mental health ever since. Tay is joined co-host, husband Taylor Lautner, in addition to celebrity and expert guests to further the conversation surrounding mental wellness. At the end of the day, we're all pretty similar; even those living in the lime-est of lights can be weighed down by sour lemons. In addition to sharing coping strategies and stories, we hope that above all, this podcast offers the comfort of knowing you are not alone.

What listeners say

A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.

I had no idea this podcast was going to be such an amazing one. The questions were always so interesting and put together by Tay. She knew not only the right questions but the right follow ups and they were executed with such respect. So many questions could have been asked that didn’t come from a respectful way and they both did amazing work on this. And Taylor was never intrusive about his own life in the limelight and that was equally impressive. He has grown into an incredible man. I am looking forward to listening to more of them and am honestly shocked they don’t have more of a following. They are not sensational and over the top and that is important to me. I don’t have social media and hate the crapshoot of drama on it. Congratulations to you both on such a great show and to many more years of success 💝

I absolutely love you guys! It’s almost a calming feeling to listen to you guys talk. You’re both so soothing and your voices but also in the context of what you’re talking about! Mental health is so important and we don’t talk about it enough! I was gonna tell you guys that my word for the year is balance! I just listened to the episode where you guys just talk with each other and give life updates. Which I’m one of the 20% that like that! Lol! But I’m having an issue with health and hormones right now and the word that popped in my head was balance! In all aspects of life, we have to find balance and within my body and within my life in general, I have to find balance! And I am bound and determined to do that! Y’all keep doing what you’re doing!

I adore you guys and love the premise of this show. The earlier episodes seemed to focus way more on mental health. It gave people a safe space to share vulnerable but often relatable stories. It seems like this show has transitioned away from that, and the conversations are more surface-level (could be found on any other podcast the guest goes on). I do hope the focus remains on mental health, as I know it truly will impact so many people on a deeper level!

I learn so much from the squeeze. I love the variety they bring here, because when it comes to mental health…it’s really not one size fits all. They challenge me to take care of myself better mentally, be more mindful of things, and they overall just keep it real. Love listening every week and grateful for the space they’ve created for everyone. 💛

Sharon Romaine · Mar 2025

First time listening to this podcast. I was excited to listen to Mikayla’s episode as I love her in Momtok. All I could hear was the host saying “Yeah” after every sentence pretty much. It was super distracting and annoying. I get it’s an acknowledgement thing but seriously, it’s too much. Couldn’t finish.
