Herbs with Rosalee

by Rosalee de la Forêt

Curious about the healing nature of plants? You're in the right place. I’m Rosalee de la Forêt and I'm passionate about helping people discover the world of herbalism and natural health. On this podcast, we explore the many ways plants heal, as food, as medicine, and through nature connection. Each week, I focus on a single seasonal plant and share trusted herbal knowledge so that you can get the best results when using herbs for your health. My goal is that you’ll walk away from each episode feeling empowered, knowledgeable, and inspired to start working with herbs in your everyday life. Sometimes you’ll sit down with just me and other times I may have special guests join the conversation. We’ll hear what their favorite herb and recipe is for the season. All you have to do right now is make sure you’re subscribed to this podcast in your favorite podcast player so you don’t miss a thing.

What listeners say

A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.

Rosalee and her team bring not just a wealth of knowledge, but sincere invitations to be in relationship with yourself, the plants and the herbal community. Every single episode I learn so much, even about the herbs I think I already know. And! A bonus recipe card every episode?! What a treasure! I have a binder full of them and use them again and again. Such gifts that keep on giving to my community! And when Rosalee takes the extra time to research studies that help us understand the gifts of the plants even further, well, it’s why I decided to study with her. Seriously, I’m not a person who gives out reviews, so know that I mean it when I say this podcast is SO GREAT! Plus it is FUN!! Thank you Rosalee and team!

Thank you Rosalee, you continue to inspire and teach us. I loved my Rooted Medicine Circle course you offer, and this podcast simply expands and continues the infinite lessons of plants….a joy!

jennifer nagle myers · Dec 2025

Rosalee opens up the world of herbalism to us, guided by curiosity, humility, and joy. I love the diversity of guests and the questions Rosalee asks that brings these conversations to life. Such an incredible wealth of herbal wisdom!

iamthelab · Dec 2025

I’ve listened to them all (or all the Herbal podcasts that I can find) and this podcast remains one of my favorite. I love the way she interacts with her guests, the format of the show, and most of all the herbalists she chooses to bring on. Loved hearing the episode with my buddy Mason. Much love Rosalee 💚🌿

basiliskfondler · Dec 2025

Im new to herbalism and looking for an educational podcast, and was excited to try this one. Unfortunately, this does not provide the information I anticipated it would. I listened to the pod on lemon balm and mugwort, and neither podcasts discussed general uses, mechanism of action, chemical compounds, and history. This is basic Information that wasn’t included at all. I learned nothing useful. Most of the pod seems to be a biography of the herbalist rather than explaining the herb itself. That’s fine, but don’t pretend to be an informational podcast… I will be looking elsewhere for herbalism education!
