This podcast is a constructive and truly insightful tool to learn about so many different aspects of life that affect everyone. When you hear something that makes complete sense yet don’t know exactly how to apply it, Jonathan knows how to ask that question that lingers unresolved and often remains unasked. Very informative, also very grounded in proactive and humble curiosity. Love this podcast. TYSM!
I am a therapist and I have shared your podcast with my clients with group members with staff with people I consult with this has been personally and professionally life-changing. Thank you so much!
This is the first episode I’ve watched, and oh my goodness it was so powerful. Near the end of the episode you gave a call to action. You said to pause the episode and do the thing. So I did something I’ve been putting off for way too long — and it was DONE in 15 mins. Thank you for that nudge! Can’t wait to watch more episodes.
I don’t know where to begin except to say I had a similar experience with an overactive nervous system that made me itchy along with Tinnitus. You summed it up by sharing the simple words Abandon Hope. I understood completely what you meant and have also found piece in my discomfort. Like you it has lessened greatly but not by fighting or fearing it. Instead acceptance. Thankyou for your calming voice and Metta meditation. Just amazing and transformative.
Disturbing to see his name listed for the good life project podcast. Google Deepak Chopra or search for him on the DOJ‘s website and you’ll see that he was friends with Jeffrey Epstein, and said a lot of concerning & disgusting things about young women and girls through email. Until he addresses his role in things, I don’t want any life advice from him & I am unfollowing the show for hosting him.
I’m only rating on this particular episode. The guest seemed to frame regret mostly in an upside light. I feel regret brings on blaming yourself and this accumulates as shame. The more regrets I have the more hard I am on myself for making the wrong choices. It also produces rumination on future decisions and like he said, self criticism. He seemed to make everting so cheery and easy to do, which I’m sure he doesn’t believe but still, this episode came across as a downer for me. Ugh.
