I discovered Elise through her book and have completely fallen in love with her. Her way of seeing and talking about the world is so relatable and trustworthy as someone who comes from an academic/scientific background and has discovered spirituality through experience. I love hearing her talk, she has incredible guests, and she does an amazing job interviewing. I would give her and her podcast one million stars if I could. Thank you Elise for being you and opening my eyes and world.
I found this podcast from another podcast where Elise was the guest. Her voice and manner are pleasant. I enjoy listening to her musings and views regarding theology living out faith. Her podcast helps me expand my understanding of life.
Elise is a wonderful human and just really knows how to connect with her guests and the listener. I also recommend her book and Substack. She’s a voice for my GenX woman angst but more importantly explores these important topics no one else explores with equal depth. (Elise, if you’re reading this, I would love for you to interview Kelly Brogan about her book, the reclaimed woman. It would be fascinating to hear your take and listen to a conversation. I’m so thankful for women like you in the podcasting space! You have deeply enriched my life.
I have been listening to Elise for a while and respect to much of her work. She does such a beautiful job of intuitively knowing how I’m feeling, what’s on mind and articulating it so beautifully. I loved this last solo episode on spiral dynamics and the “brocast” space. Please keep doing this work - you’re voice is so needed (especially now).
I was really curious about this podcast, and was excited to give a listen because I found several of the episode titles to be right up my alley. Unfortunately after several tries I had to throw in the towel due to sensory sensitivities. I hope this comes across in a constructive way because you can see how much work is put into these episodes, but the recordings are riddled with “mouth sounds”. As much as I try to push through they eventually trigger such intense anxiety and sensory overload that I find them unlistenable. This is certainly not a concern for everyone but fair warning, I listen to hours of podcasts a week and this is the first one I had issues with.
