Cas I wanna start by seeing that I am thankful for you. I came across your podcast and YouTube about two years ago. It was like you knew me and understood the struggles of life long clutter. I love you your enthusiasm, humor, and empathy. It’s a wonderful balance. I have recommended you to all of my girlfriends. Keep doing the good work. Your gift is helping so many people.
I listen to many podcasts but this one is the best because it’s not just about the clutter in your homes, the tricks and tips shared here can be applied to anything really that you want to achieve. She has been a big influence in my life - she isn’t going to read this review but I give her a virtual hug after each episode I listen to :)
The concept of organizing and decluttering seems simple but it is life changing. I like to listen while I actively work on a home project and it makes me feel like I am doing it with a buddy and a coach! She gives you permission to throw things away and make mistakes all in the goal of having a home you experience peace and joy in🩷✨
I love listening to Cas I Declutter she keeps me motivated and pumped up! Her tough love and no nonsense approach really speaks to me as a ladybug. I need to hear that it doesn’t have to be perfect. I love how she sprinkles in neuroscience and comedy to keep things light and fun thanks Cass for all you do.
I was excited to finally find a podcast that would work for me. And the first 20 minutes were great but the longer I listened, it just completely turned me off. I couldn’t turn it off fast enough. I feel like this podcast is just kind of all over the place. And I completely understand the whole ADHD thing because I also have been diagnosed with that, going on 32 years now. It’s was just way too much for me. It was making me anxious and overwhelmed. She makes weird sounds, weird noises. She’s completely off track. It’s like she loses train of thought in the middle of talking and then she’ll start talking really fast. It’s just not my cup of tea. I need a podcast that is to the point and has structure. I need a list to be able to check off and someone giving me direct instructions when it comes to decluttering and cleaning.
I love the episodes where the host gives you some tough love and motivation to get cleaning for a little while. However, the “life coachy” guest episodes are not it. I unsubscribed today after listening to Cas and her guest talk about how margarine and canola oil are “not food” because they don’t come from the ground. Umm… may want to do a little research before you post something like that. Not only is it factually untrue, but it comes across as shaming towards people who use these products. I think the idea is there, the execution is just not. There needs to be more research done before these episodes to have truthful, helpful, in-depth interviews. It comes across more like somebody just asking whatever random questions come to mind rather than someone who is prepared to conduct an interview for a show.
