What listeners say

A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.

I love Meghann’s advice and her sunny, welcoming attitude on the show. I took nearly 11 minutes off my marathon PR by incorporating her nutrition recommendations into my training. But Thomas can be elitist and adds very little to the show. He spent a good chunk of the most recent episode making fun of listeners who run with hydration backpacks and speculated that a listener who uses medical cannabis called in to the show high (a dumb joke that didn’t land). Running is for everyone, and we should all strive to be welcoming and kind. Thomas clearly thinks he’s funny, but so much of what he shares on the show comes off as juvenile or mean. I wish only Megan and Meghann were part of Fuel for the Sole. I’ll still listen for the invaluable advice, but I’ll be tuning him out as much as I can manage.

I love Meaghann’s thoughtfulness in each episode, how thorough she dives into popular (& obscure) nutritional running topics, and I always learn something new every episode!

stmbtrunnergrl · Jan 2025

I recently learned about Believe in the Run after hearing them mentioned on the Ali on the Run show, and that led me to this podcast. I’ve been dying for more content on running and nutrition, and this podcast is everything I’ve been looking for and more. I love how it’s not only informative, but also approachable and just generally fun to listen to. I wish I had found it sooner, but at least now I have plenty of old content to listen to!

VArunsVA · Jan 2025

I’ve listened to this pod for years and it amazes me how much incredible information they provide in a free podcast. I took all I’ve ever learned from them and did my first ever marathon training (I’ve been running for 20+ years!) and I could not believe what a difference my nutrition and hydration made in this training. I would run 20 miles and then be out and about my day in the dead heat of summer hours later. Putting in the work to carb load, hydrate and eat during and after was a game changer. Thank you for all the knowledge you share. It’s made a difference to so many of us.
