I’m loving so many things about this podcast. -The authentic conversations with industry leaders about the ups and downs of their careers - The inflection points that shaped their journeys and decisions - The nostalgia tied to the evolution of the media space Jordan brings on powerhouse guests and then gets them to open up in ways that offer insights everyone can use to be better leaders, colleagues and collaborators.
I do love the marketing industry, and Jordan Bitterman's new podcast is pretty much why. If you are in the #marketing or #advertising or #media industries, then you really should take a listen to Jordan's new Special Sauce Podcast. Jordan has a curious mind - which is why we get along, and why he excels -- and has excelled in the explosive digital advertising industry from its beginning. The beauty of pouring your heart into an industry for 20+ years is that you make great friends -- and many of them have had truly remarkable journeys. These are some of those journeys -- and some of the people who seem to have left their mark on Jordan as well. Shout out to the brilliant, driven and also delightful Christine C. Cook @ Bloomberg for calling out our 25+ year relationship in her conversation with Jordan. ❤️ Time flies - but our industry friendships last and last. The first two episodes of his new weekly podcast feel like a balance of old friends chatting (which is just so pleasant to listen to) and new territories discovered by listening (because he's a great interviewer and keeps digging). You can listen everywhere - of course I'm partial to Audible.
There are lot of marketing and media interview shows, but this snappy, shiny new show Special Sauce hosted by Jordan Bitterman stands out as he talks to people he knows well, so you instantly feel a level deeper in the conversation and as a listener you benefit (and laugh and learn) from that shared connection.
Just discovered this pod as a co-worker shared it with me. The Brian Matthews episode was a fantastic listen! Looking forward to catching up on all the previous episodes.
