Make Fit Simple

by Andrea Allen

My name is Andrea and I am a mother of 4 girls under 7, wife to a mountain man, a Personal Trainer, Nutrition Coach and Owner of DFH Training. I have been featured in People and on Good Morning America and I truly love all things woman's health and fitness. But lets face it, the fitness industry is complicated and it feels like the everyday mom doesn’t fit the mold. There is so much conflicting information and you're busy and don't have time to figure it all out. That’s why I have made it my mission to simplify Health and Fitness while creating a welcoming, realistic and empowering space for like minded women. I am happy you're here and I hope you stay a while. Follow me on Instagram @deliciouslyfitnhealthy and visit my website www.deliciouslyfitnhealthy.com

I love listening to these podcasts! They’re so informative and she breaks things down for listeners so it’s understandable for anyone, beginner or advanced. Her podcasts help me understand where I’m at in my fitness journey and how to progress, as well as reassuring me that perfection is not the goal. For a mom of three, that’s a huge concept to keep me motivated! She is such a compassionate human being who really wants to help people 🥹 Make Fit Simple has changed my fitness journey for the better 🫶🏽 -Chelina Ch.

I’ve listened to Andrea for a few years now. She always explains things so well. I appreciate that she’s down to earth and asks the questions that so many women have so that she can give the answers. Guest speakers are always top notch.

Edited in Feb 2026: I love the latest episode with meredith on meal prep and actual food ideas. I would love more like this – quick practical real food examples for busy moms! Original review: I don’t know how it took me so long to find this! It’s what I’ve wanted for motivation & information for years. I love the practical mom aspects (I have 4 kids- two are teens, two younger). I love the specifics on strength training & DR focus. Please keep this podcast like it is! I feel like a lot of fitness podcasts transition to broader topics like productivity, self care, mental health, but please keep your focus on exercise & nutrition for moms. (I love how you talk about how exercise is so effective in helping anxiety & depression.) I need it. I’m going on a walk now & will be listening!
