Self-Improvement · Zac Clark
by Zac Clark
What does recovery actually look like? Not just the rock bottom. Not just the story of getting sober. But the daily, real, sometimes messy and often beautiful life that happens when someone decides to keep going. Hosted by Zac Clark – founder of Release Recovery, 14+ years sober, and someone who brought addiction and recovery to national attention on The Bachelorette in 2020 – each episode brings together athletes, artists, entrepreneurs, and everyday people for honest, unfiltered conversations about how people actually live in recovery. Behavioral health experts join the conversation to share resources, break down what's happening in the field, and offer real, practical insight for anyone touched by addiction. Whether you're in recovery, thinking about it, supporting someone through it, or just curious about the human experience – there's something here for you.

This is a great podcast- it’s enlightening but also entertaining. I am enjoying the interviews with people telling their stories. Zac is a great listener and asks good questions. Keep up the great work!
Have listened to every episode. Episode with Dawn was my favorite so far. You both are incredible. Philly girl, grew up with a million of guys just like you. You are relatable, inspiring, and remarkable. These conversations are pivotal, and life changing- so many life lessons and wise nuggets in your purpose. I appreciate you sharing your story and finding others to keep teaching the rest of us. I am a practitioner we focus on mind-body-spirit. You are doing this intuitively! Thank you.🙏
If there’s one thing about Zac is that he is not afraid to have uncomfortable conversations and do with with such poise, compassion, and rawness. His story alone is one of the most compelling stories I have ever heard. This man has dedicated his life to helping others and using his story and platform to reach the masses to make change. He is a true change maker. Zac has personally helped me out in my journey with addiction, mental health, belief in myself, motivating me to do the 21’ nyc marathon, truly lean into my strengths and become a better agent to be lifeline for others. Thank you Zac and the team for starting this podcast. Already 2 for 2 with crushing episodes and learning so much every time I throw it on. KEEP GOING
These are important conversations that will hopefully benefit many. Two small pieces of feedback as this podcast finds its legs: Zac, please stay close to your mic throughout the interview. It can be hard to hear you and I’ve had to crank up the volume in order to do so. Also, please provide a brief bio of your guests at the beginning. It would be helpful to know off the top what qualifies them as an expert. Keep up the good work!
