Dr. Berg must have studied nutrition and the effect of minerals and diet on the body. I was skeptical at first since there are so many people selling things that you do not need. However, I believe there is merit in much of his advice. I also appreciate the explanations of the effects on the body and discussions of the studies performed to back up his advice. You should, however, always go slow in implementing his advice because the human body is complex and Dr. Berg may not know everything about your specific condition.
Dr Berg can describe health issues all the while lowering my anxiety about my health. So different from the medical community, where the typical response is “We don’t know why”…. Dr. Berg know why, goes to the root cause, doesn’t assume you won’t understand, and because of that, is a great asset to many people!
Dr. Berg’s informative Podcast is a definite game changer -as well as life saver. It’s impossible to describe how profound and powerful the impact he has made on my life and obviously that of others. Give your family and friends the gift of all gifts; his knowledge! Share, share, share! A HUGE thank you to Dr. Berg!
Dr. Berg delivers life changing information in the most palatable and digestible way. He is a gifted educator that is the epitome of calm, cool and collective all while simplifying the deepest of life changing information. Thank you Doctor. You are well respected and appreciated for your knowledge, time and energy towards educating us.
Generally, I love Dr Berg but the episode on ADHD is a crazy oversimplification of ADHD & a complete dismissal of people who struggle with ADHD. I am a middle aged adult. Not diagnosed until recently. I have went through cycles of living & eating SUPER clean for years & years. He’s not wrong with his assessment & tips of things that can help with ADHD symptoms BUT this had ZERO effect on my ADHD symptoms EVER. Yes, I felt better but I STILL had ADHD & STILL STRUGGLED every damned day just to unload the dishwasher or to brush my teeth!!! Then to insinuate, to struggling parents, that they’re being gaslighted & they can fix their child with diet & supplements is not helpful or ethical. Yes, he makes worthy, healthful points everyone struggling should try, BUT not one of these things will cure the disorder in people who truly have ADHD. Regardless of what causes ADHD, there are ZERO lifestyle changes, supplements & no medication that will TEACH an ADHD person the tools & skills to cope with their disorder. He clearly knows zero people who truly struggle with ADHD or what things helped them & had a profound impact on their lives. He clearly didn’t do his own research to see that dependence on ADHD drugs, in the way someone is dependent on “meth or cocaine” is NOT a thing. That, yes, it can actually help people LONGTERM. Him denying that is destructive & insensitive. As a functional medicine doctor Berg SHOULD have also included therapies that actually help ADHD like DBT, or alternative treatments like personal-use biofeedback & neural stimulation devices & exercise. In this one, Berg comes off as a puppet for his bro, RFK Jr, who I also love, but also disagree with wholeheartedly on things like ADHD & autism. Completely disappointed in Dr Berg on this one. Try again!
