I literally listen to this podcast every single day! Sometimes on repeat especially when I need extra motivation and encouragement… always the perfect compilation of audio and wisdom to keep me going!! And at times will share with others that need it too! Thank you for making this content - keep up the great work! You are making a difference in so many lives!!
I honestly want to thank you for making these. Whenever I have a bad moment, these manage to lift me up and make me get back on the grind. I’ve listened to the same ones maybe 100 times. There’s allot of wisdom and good mindsets contained in this podcast. Please never stop
I started listening to this podcast a few months ago when it showed up on my recommended. I have listened to the same ones many times over and they never cease to inspire. I am an athlete who struggles with performance anxiety and unending self-criticism. Out all my time I sports, this podcast and others like it are one of the few things that get me out of my doubts and into the game. Despite the many benefits, I have a subsequent warning. It is important to supplement these podcasts with other health podcasts (i.e., Huberman Lab, On Purpose with Jay Shetty) that stress the importance of rest. Due to the lack of acknowledgment of the need for rest, these motivational episodes could easily be manipulated to support “hustle culture”, which is infamous for its causation of burnout. I do not believe that the creator of this podcast or the original motivational speakers are intentionally endorsing hustle culture, for, if you listen closely, there are slight implications and mentions of the need for rest. Unfortunately these slight acknowledgments can often be drowned out in the push for hustle and are easily missed. If you are reading this and are working towards anything from world domination to simply a promotion, remember one principle; Rest is often the greatest kind of progress.
I’ve started my mornings listening to this podcast for the past 2 years. I cannot put into words the positive benefits I have seen by doing that. All day long, the soundtrack running in the background of my mind is full of the voices of Eric Thomas, Andy Frisella, Les Brown, Jocko Willink, David Goggins, and others. I hear them telling me to do more, work harder, never give up, and they’re there to pick me up when I’m down. It sounds hyperbolic, but it is no exaggeration, this podcast is life changing. 10/10 recommend for the next month, starting your day by listening to it. You will change.
I've loved this pod for years and have really gained a lot from it, so I thought - time to subscribe and support the effort. Big mistake - for me. New 'subscriber edition / subscriber only' episodes will not automatically drop into my station feed. When I see the pod cover in my 'recently updated' list, I have to go to it and manually add it to my queue to listen. I can work around "annoying." Not so willing to work around "disappointing." The new manually queued episode that shows 'published - 2 hours ago' is the same episode that has been the 'new' episode every single time since I subscribed. Has everyone been getting this same episode re-released as new for the last few weeks or is this a 'new subscriber bonus feature?' I'll pass, thanks. TLDR: Loved it. Subscribed. 'New ep' has been the EXACT SAME EP every single time a new ep drops. Motivational Groundhog Day. Disappointed. :(
