What listeners say

A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.

I’ve been listening to Kirk and Brakken for 4+ years now, and every episode is still the first one I play on my weekly rotation when they drop. They provide the best information in the most digestible format I’ve found, and have kept fueling my passion for running. Truly authentic and they show a pure passion for the sport + providing value to their listeners as the top priority

Discovered The Running Public a few years ago and haven’t stopped listening since. I look forward to new episodes every week. The eps where they break down race specific workouts may be my favorite, but it’s hard to choose! I’ve learned so much from the Q&A’s and interviews. Thanks Kirk and Brakken for putting out amazing content week after week. Would recommend for listeners anywhere in their running journey!

Another ORC podcast brought me here. Been learning a ton. Interviews to listener questions great info all around. I joined there running program and its been a game changer. My training is on auto pilot and my runs are improving. Came for De-Bechlor stayed for the Kraker… ;) never new that until it was mentioned in the show

Hamiltro · Aug 2026

Found this podcast in the last year after getting back into running and have listened to almost every episode. Great content with interesting takes from both hosts with enough variety to keep me coming back. The way they cover their personal training history, challenges and goals like Kirks sub 15 minute 5k and Brakkens 1 mile and ultra dreams has me rooting for them along with learning things to apply to my own training.
