Put simply if you’re a serious fan of competitive track and field or road running, there is no better podcast out there! Gault and the BroJos cover every topic, have depths of knowledge, and love a good bit of banter or a searing hot take. The athlete interviews are also second to none going way beyond the usual, basic questions. Again, this is head and shoulders above any other running podcast!
Jonathan Gault and the Johnson twins are dialed into all things running, they discuss some controversial topics within the sport that some other sports journalists are afraid to, they have some entertaining arguments, bring on great guests, and are clearly very knowledgeable on what they talk about and keep you up to date on all the latest news from around the world of running. Favorite running podcast.
I’ve been listening to Jonathan, Weldon and RoJo for a few years now and can say this is without a doubt the best running news podcast out there. They are responsible for elevating my knowledge around track and field and the history of the sport. As I first began to listen, I thought Rojo was corny, but quickly came to appreciate his sometimes contrarian takes and the balance and showmanship he provides to the show. I was wrong about him for sure. I believe all three hosts do a great job presenting their takes and contesting others where they see fit. They are willing to ask the hard questions and analyze the individual athletes and performances beyond just the numbers. I have learned so much that I became a member of the supporters club because I get so much enjoyment out of their work. Bravo to you 3, I am one of many who really benefits from the hard work and long hours you put in day after day and want to express my gratitude. Cheers.
Very informative and entertaining. You guys ask the hard questions that others are too scared to ask. Awesome guest interviews too!
I have tried listening to this podcast a couple of times, but the amount of dead air in between people talking makes me think something is wrong with the podcast. The complete lack of enthusiasm and monotone voices when they’re talking about everything doesn’t make me excited to listen to the podcast either. It’s like they’re reading off of a script. Show some excitement for running and that will make me excited to hear what you’re saying.
