What listeners say

A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.

I truly enjoy listening! A piece of constructive feedback-please refer to athletes being discussed by their preferred pronouns. Nikki Hiltz has made it abundantly clear that their preferred pronouns are they/them, but Chris referred to them as “she/her” for an entire episode. I know it may not seem like a big deal to you, but it is to the person being discussed. They deserve the same respect as anyone else.

SASRuns · Jul 2026

I’ve listened to just about every episode for two years now. Honestly feels like I’m just hanging with the boys when listening! Love the range of athletes interviewed and have also learned a few things along the way. Keep on keeping on. Also, moo.

You know those podcasts where it takes a couple episodes to really get the vibe? This isn’t one of those. It’s hilarious. Real emotion, creative range, riveting characters, and vivid storylines. Took me about 5 minutes to realize it was a running podcast, so credit to some harsh critics’ observation, but hey, the line between idiocy and critic is so thin these days. Unlike my calves which have only thickened since listening to the boys on long runs. In all seriousness, it’s a balanced reflection of personal and professional running which only gets better yearly, strong legs, and rich notes..one of the best wine connoisseur - wait no, running podcast - ever.

Kash Desai · Mar 2026

I look forward to the frequent episodes that run the gamut between interviews, race previews/recaps, coaching wisdom, and bro banter. I enjoy listening to the hosts chat about their personal training, insane race schedules, and I have picked up some good workouts from them.
