This podcast has been such a blessing because one it’s so full of knowledge and because it offers practical advice and insight about anxiety!
Simply listening to Gina’s voice is enough to bring me comfort. This podcast has been an amazing resource for me, especially in times of increased anxiety. Her knowledge that she shares is priceless. Thank you, Gina!
The education that Gina provides in such a compassionate, safe, and loving way is truly life changing when it comes to anxiety. So grateful for her work and this podcast! 10/10 recommend to anyone of any age struggling with anxiety.
The two core desired feelings most everyone wants to feel (in addition to joy) are calm and peace, and Gina embodies everything about that. From her demeanor, to the inspiring messages of hope she shares, to the captivating conversations with guest experts - this show is a must-listen for anyone desiring more calm and peace in their lives - regardless of your relationship with anxiety.
I have been listening to Gina for about 8 years now. Gina helped me tremendously get through the worst anxiety of my life. I used to listen to her on loop when I was dealing with persistent intrusive thoughts. I stopped listening for a little while and then came back. I understand that ads are a necessary evil of podcasting and entertainment. I’m not inherently anti-ad, but when you have a podcast directed at people suffering from anxiety and in a more sensitive space, there is a certain tact that would be expected from how ads are featured. Lately, the ads are randomly inserted at the most inopportune moments. Or the episode is only about 12 mins long and 50% of the episode is ads. I feel like I’m on the Truman Show when I listen to this podcast now. It gets me really emotive and focused on every encouraging or reflective sentiment, then suddenly cuts into 2 minutes of ads. Surely, there is a more tactful way to do this. I’m grateful for this podcast but I am certain I’m not the only one who feels this way.
I can’t tell where the advice ends and the advertising begins, sometimes seemingly mid sentence. The additional commercials are more obvious to separate out from the unsponsored suggestions and advice. Anxiety isn’t as simple as any one fast, supplement or practice and the oversimplification in the name of profit makes me uninterested in listening any further.
