What listeners say

A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.

I’ve struggled with mental health my entire life. I’ve had many different traumas in my life. I’ve been sober over 4 years and am engaged to an amazing woman. The Lord has been gently guiding me and allowing me to stumble upon podcasts like this. I live in Pennsylvania and I have been watching pastor Joby and listening to his podcasts and he mentioned you. I’m very happy I found your channel and it’s been encouraging me in so many ways I want to be all God has called me to be God bless you and the work your doing it’s bearing fruit.

This podcast marries together so many different aspects of our humanity along with the fact that every facet is made in the image of God. With relative content to our daily lives, rich historical and biblical insight, and not a hint of spiritual misinformation or judgement. This podcast touches on topics we can all benefit to learn more about. I look forward to each new one & am excited how this offers another tool in the hands of a believer and even a non-believer to navigate our emotions and our mind.

This is practical information with a consistent message that change is possible and God continues to grow us. Rebecca illustrates how being made in God’s likeness means we are not reduced to behaviors or crushed by circumstances. Her heart for the church and it’s people is evident in the calling on her life. In this episode, she discusses the scholarship God has led her to while pursuing her licensure as an LMFT, building her practice and encouraging while coming alongside couples who no longer want to walk in pervasive patterns of hurting each other but mirror Jesus in how he is in their experience and continues to sanctify the now and the not yet in their marriage, family system and God’s Promise for their children’s children. This introductory podcast for the series brings exciting news of the fruit of a book titled “Jesus and Your Mental Health” as well as breaks down future episodes exploring people’s psychological organization of the Holy Spirit, the family unit and systems where we can authentically and obediently walk out relationships as fertile ground for living and loving like Jesus.
