As a guest and listener, this podcast covers it all! Every topic around mental health has been addressed and they get super vulnerable and deep with everyone’s stories which really makes you feel less alone. As a guest, I felt welcome and comfortable immediately and it was easy to share my own stories. If you want to learn, feel like you’re hanging with friends, and covering mental health topics with no taboo or shame - this is a great podcast!
I like the range of topics covered through storytelling; many of which take immense vulnerability to share. That said, I’m not the biggest fan of certain stereotypes or “tropes” that are joked about and perpetuated. This has more to do with certain guests than with the hosts themselves. Overall, the subject matter is great, but the flow might not be my cup of tea.
As a fellow podcaster who lives with bipolar 1 there is no better support then peer to peer. Listened to various episodes and the stories shared are totally relatable. It’s great that you bring more awareness to mental illness. Excellent show ladies.
I’ve got something from this pod that was completely unexpected. Listen and if your like me I promise you’ll learn something about yourself and a loved one in every episode. Plus you’ll legit laugh.
