Funjelah with Anjelah Johnson-Reyes

by Funjelah with Anjelah Johnson-Reyes

Anjelah Johnson-Reyes starts each day with gratitude. When you remind yourself of what you’re grateful for and say it out loud, you’re not only speaking good into the world, but good into yourself. Each episode, Anjelah and her guest will recount the things that they are grateful for and dive deep into how those gratitudes affect their lives. We all have a lot to be grateful for, but there’s always that one thing that can set you off, make you mad, and give you a bad attitude. Or as Anjelah likes to call it, a maditude. So join Anjelah and friends as they share their gratitudes and maditudes and let it out and let it go on “Funjelah.” Email: Funjelahpodcast@gmail.com

What listeners say

A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.

Releasing emotions including crying is very healthy. If those emotions don’t come out they are stored in your body. The strongest people I know cry. Not being able to release tears is not a sign of strength. Just think it’s dangerous to give the impression that crying shows how strong you are. There are many benefits to crying and releasing emotions in a healthy way and safe spaces.

I’ve been a fan of Anjelah’s since the very beginning and love that she has had this podcast for some time. It is relatable, especially when she talks about family and life in general. I mostly listen to the podcast while at work or when I’m in my car and it just feels like you’re apart of a conversation with friends. This podcast has helped me show more gratitude for the smaller things in my life and turn a negative situation into a positive one. Thank you Anjelah and Danielle for being entertaining and making a positive impact on others!
