I’ve been a listener for a few years now & even did some TBM work through the app. I think Lacey & Jessica are wonderful & a great wealth of knowledge… however, I feel like the conversations have shifted and always lands on some aspect of “social media presence” whether it’s they themselves talking about their journey or the guest they are interviewing. I miss connecting to the conversation as just a real human in the real world. I’d love to hear from guests in corporate America or careers outside of this social media tunnel. They continuously say the new paradigm is going to be moving away from this kind of life but yet they seem to always circle back to it. I’m over hearing about peoples social media success.
I love TBM and love this podcast. While the recent guests are certainly magnetic and great I truly miss the more ‘real people’ episodes. I found these much more expansive! Lately it feels every ‘real expander’ is an influencer/instagram star. Would love to hear from more people who aren’t influencers as they’d be a bit more relatable as someone who isn’t hoping to be an influencer.
I have been listening to every episode of this podcast since the very beginning and finally joined the Pathway membership 3 years ago, and I have literally manifested everything I’ve dreamed of: a beautiful home, loving husband, amazing kids, cars, cameras, furniture, health and wellness, that perfect pair of jeans, and unimaginable success as an artist…all in my 50’s! This podcast is a must if you’re looking to truly transform your life, I highly recommend you start listening every week, then get the book How to Manifest, and then invest in the membership…my sister (55 yrs) saw my transformation and signed on and she is growing and healing so much in a short time. Thank you, TBM team!
I listened to a few episodes about six years ago and then fell off the wagon. A few months ago, during a meditation, I got a sudden “ping.” It felt like someone whispered, “To Be Magnetic.” Just those words. It was so clear and so strong that I decided to follow TBM on Instagram. Not long after, an ad popped up for a Pathway membership discount, and I was off to the races. I completed the How to Manifest workshop and am now deep in the Inner Child workshop. I’ve become religious about the DIs, binge-listened to old podcast episodes, and found so many new expanders. I’m a therapist who’s done a lot of therapy, and honestly, I’ve made more therapeutic progress in these workshops than I ever did in traditional therapy. This work inspired me to get trained in EMDR, and I’m even teaching elements of it to my clients in prison. Thank you, Lacy, Jessica, and Janelle, for all that you do. You three are expanders for me, without a doubt. I wasn’t ready for this work in 2020, but somehow, you found your way back to me when I was ready.
I hate to say this because I’ve been a listener and member since the very beginning, back when the workshops were sold individually, but the podcast has really gone downhill for me. It used to feel thoughtful, inspiring, and a bit more grounded. Lately it feels more superficial and repetitive, and I find myself getting bored halfway through episodes. It’s disappointing because I’ve supported the platform for years and really believed in the work. But recently it feels like the heart of the podcast and brand has faded and it’s become more corporate than authentic. Sadly I’m probably going to cancel my membership. I get the impression Lacey has checked out, I guess she’s made her money…I feel bad as Jessica clearly brings a lot of passion and energy to the show, and you can hear how much effort she puts in. But the overall dynamic feels different now, and the spark that used to drive the podcast just isn’t there in the same way. Even my husband jokes that I need to put headphones on when I listen because he can’t handle the vocal fry and the cult-ish sounding phrases. The hosts and guests sometimes come across as bossy and a little annoying, Im sorry to say. I used to defend the show, but lately I find myself agreeing with him.
I love TBM and have done the workshops and enjoy the wisdom of Lacey and the guests but have stopped listening to the podcasts because Jessica talks so much and often times feels like she is over powering and dominating over the guests. A bit less of her constantly talking and more humility would make the podcast more valuable. It’s really a shame because the workshops are so good and I used to really enjoy the podcasts
