This pod is thoughtful, humorous, and inspiring. I am a longtime walking enthusiast but wasn’t sure if a pod with a daily drop would work for me. Boy was I wrong: I look forward to this each day. I don’t mean to sound saccharine but I feel deeply like Dave wants the best for ME, a stranger who lives across the country, whom he has never met. Big bonus: the occasional background birdsong!!

I‘ve been listening for about 1 1/2 year now. I usually listen to the podcast for the first 10 minutes of my longer walk each morning (5 days a week), I enjoy the various topics Dave talks about. It gets my walk started.It wasn’t until a few months ago when I fell while hiking that I realized the value of just 10 minutes. I hurt my knee, at first I tried to power through, bad mistake. Worried I would lose my momentum, after a couple of days rest I started with just a 10 minute slow walk. It kept me going until I could return to my longer walks.
