I’ve loved Merc since shahs day 1. I can listen while working out or working from home. Such a calming but intuitive and hilarious voice /perspective. I’ve been enjoying till the dirt even more recently with just MJ hosting… can’t forget how MJ was at the infamous “dual action” dinner with Jeff/Shannon. I’ve been around since MJ’s inaugural days on Shahs and have been rooting for you and Tommy. No one knows what goes on behind closed doors so anyone’s opinions are just that- opinions. Today, you came across as sincere and grieving. I hope you can reach a healthy co parenting and familial relationship bc Shams deserves that. Good luck.

Tommy Feight: My cousin was in an abusive relationship for years. She met her abuser when she was in her mid twenties, she was young, naive and in love. He was handsome and charming, but there were red flags. Unfortunately, she had faith that if she made him feel loved enough, he would change his ways and learn to control his temper. He told her this many times and she believed him. None of her friends and family knew what was going on behind closed doors. She was too ashamed to tell us of his violent rages. By the time he started putting his hands on her she had already married him. She felt that she was in too deep and she must deserve his abuse. Why else would Mr. Charming treat her that way? They had a child and his anger got worse. I know this not because she told me, but I read it in her journal after he murdered her. You’re entitled to your opinion, but I hope you understand what kind of effect your words can have. My cousin might have been able to get out of her abusive marriage if she didn’t feel so ashamed of being in that place. She might have told us how bad it was, maybe she would have even asked for help. I would have done anything to help her. Did she deserve to be killed at the hands of her husband, Tommy? Because that is the message you are putting out there to everyone listening. I’m guessing that you weren’t trying to be hateful, but you were. I have finally calmed down after listening to your vitriol that I can write this without saying horrible things to you. Words cannot express how hurtful what you said was anyway. Please learn, PLEASE DO BETTER.
