This show offers so many insights and advice for people navigating dating and makes it a less intimidating experience. It’s helped me approach it from a more optimistic, thoughtful, and empowered perspective. Highly recommend for anyone looking to feel a sense of calm and reassurance in their dating journey!
Julie and Yue share stories that are relatable, their views are insightful and they give practical, actionable advice. I often recommend this podcast to my clients!
The Dateable Podcast hosts feel like wiser sisters who ask good questions on the things that matter. I bought their book and honestly feel like it’s the ONLY book you’ll ever need when dating. They address both the reasons why we’re all so burned out and the traps we often fall into (hello Validation Trap and Love on Demand - that’s me!) and then take you through the questions that help you get super clear on how to date with intention. On top of that, I think they really understand the depths of momentary despair (I) or (we) can all fall into when we’ve been dating and yet feel like our person is just so far away. They just get it and they never stop asking good questions. So ladies - here’s my question for your #Brunchtalk segment: I don’t know what I’m doing wrong in dating. I’m pretty, compassionate, interesting and have my life together yet I’m constantly striking out on the apps. I’ll have good banter, have a good phone call and then….the guy doesn’t ask me out. I know we’re in a time when women can ask men out, but I do feel that if I pursue a man, he’ll never step up and show initiative - it’s happened before. I don’t want to twist a man’s arm to go out with me. I want him to show interest and ask me out. Like the Achiever in your book, I’m dating with intention: I’m dying to create a loving family and household with MY person, but if I’m not even getting on a date with these men, how will I ever do that? Just feels like I’m not good enough or I’m doing something wrong because men just aren’t showing much or any interest in me. Please help! - Carolyn
Yue and Julie are my favorite duo to listen to. They give me the hug I needed and always leave us with actionable takeaways and a refreshing sense of freedom (never judgment). I personally know Yue, and I can tell you: what they share is how they live 💛
Friendly suggestion. After each recording, do some good editing. Way too much off-topic chatter that gets boring and takes away from a focused message. Good luck
