Keep the content authentic and raw. So many people are suffering with some of the same feelings and you using this platform to open up and let it out is amazing. Thank you for being brave and just letting the emotions happen for people to see.
These guys have been phenomenal in every episode since I’ve started tuning in. They have helped me in many ways, especially with keeping me sane during tough times. Huge shoutout to these guys nothing but respect and support from my way.
I have listened to this podcast everyday since I have found it. All of the things you guys say is really relatable. Hearing things from a guys perspective is nice to hear about certain subjects.
Good content and thought. Very real talk, just turned off a bit by the amount of time “bro” is used throughout. Makes me think of the bar scene in the movie Central Intelligence with Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart.
Zach interviews Kenny Rodriguez who offers a ChatGPT apology for getting caught using slurs and racially charged language towards his black girlfriend. Black Reality TV contestants have a history of being unfairly depicted, stereotyped and harshly criticized. Kenny Rodriquez uses The Journey Podcast to further push those narratives while attempting to garner sympathy and Zachary Cummings coddles him. I am not seeing that this podcast is a safe space for the mental health of black women. But if you are a straight male who resorts to fake tears this is the podcast for you.
