As a PMHNP, The Carlat Psychiatry Podcast is one of my go-to resources. Dr. Aiken and Kellie consistently deliver informative, well-researched content that enhances clinical decision-making. Their commitment to bias-free, evidence-based information makes this podcast an essential tool in modern psychiatric practice.
Have been listening to the show for quite some time! EM—not primary psychiatry, but I have found so much useful information and entertainment with these hosts. Impressed with the amount of up-to-date content and variety. Presentations are in a way that promote retention and awareness a good variety of topics. 5 stars plus!! 💯
So quality. I’m a mid-career psychiatrist and find this podcast to be the most helpful continuing education content. It helps me improve my practice constantly. Spot on and concise, like a little nugget of gold each week!
Carlat has been good a long time. But their recent willingness to host individuals critical of aspects of modern psychiatry shows they value what is right rather than pushing for more diagnosis and prescribing. It takes courage to host individuals critical of ADHD and psychiatry in general. But our field needs some serious introspection. Bravo team at Carlat!
