What listeners say

A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.

Thank you, for W.A.I.T? I am someone who has issues with being “heard”. I easily fluctuate between extremes of talking to much, ADHD brain ramblings, or the feeling that no one’s cares I should be quiet. I really loved the easy acronym of Why Am I Talking? In the episode about knowing when to talk and when to be quiet. Thank you so much for continued advice.

Excellent advice on every episode I’ve listened to however my only complaint is that you have to fast forward 10-15 minutes into the episode before they actually even get to the topic of the episode. This last episode was 17 minutes into before they even got to the actual topic of the episode. The 15 minutes of small talk and ads that begin each episode almost make me want to stop following this show but then they finally get to the stuff you want to hear and they are soooo good!

Love love love! So helpful, I’ve been listening for the past few years. I don’t go to therapy but listening to this podcast is something I consider part of my mental health routine. I love the variety of topics and way they approach them. Both hosts are knowledgeable and bring a fun energy to the interviews. They have a great dynamic and seem like two girls I’d love to be friends with!! It’s a nice balance between serious therapy topics and some light hearted chats. Sometimes I get emotional listening and other times I’m cracking up at a joke they made. I’m from the Philly area so I think that makes me feel even more connected. Thank you for everything 🫶🏻

My therapist recommended on of their podcasts to me and now I listen to them weekly!! Em and Jen are soothing voices to me now. I absolutely love to listen to this podcast for my in between therapy times. 🫶🏼🩷 so much love for these women

Hayley Sullivan · Jul 2024

Okay so I started listening a couple years ago and so far it was okay I don’t mind when they talk about trivial things because they’re charming but OMG 70% of the show is ads. I skip through them sometimes and I swear there was once that it was like 3 minutes of ads and still I had to keep skipping. I get that they have to make money somehow but I’d listen to the radio if I wanted to hear this much nonsense.
