Feeling Things with Amy & Kat

by Nashville Podcast Network

Feeling Things with Amy & Kat is a podcast for anyone who’s ever had feelings—or wants to. Hosted by Amy Brown and therapist Kat Van Buren, this is a space where nothing is off-limits. From deep reflections on childhood to pop culture obsessions to what’s happening in the world, all feelings deserve a seat at the table—big, small, awkward, joyful, confusing, and everything in between. At its core, it’s real friends having real conversations about real feelings. Some episodes go deep, some stay light, but all are rooted in curiosity, honesty, and connection. In a world that moves fast, sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is pause... and feel things.

What listeners say

A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.

Been a long time listener of Amy and Kat and love this new spin on things. While “this isn’t a therapy podcast” - ha - I’m in therapy and learning so many things about how to re-wire my brain and how to actually feel things vs suppressing them and having feelings explained in a fun way helps to implement what I’m working on with my therapist already. We could all use these life tools, whether you’re in therapy or not.

I'm absolutely obsessed with this podcast! Having been a fan of their individual shows, I was thrilled to discover the magic that happens when they come together. This duo has a way of making me laugh, cry, and feel all the emotions alongside them. Their chemistry is undeniable, and they have a gift for making listeners feel like they're part of the conversation - like we're old friends catching up. Can't recommend this podcast enough!

Carie B71 · Apr 2025

I just love the breadth of topics covered - I feel like they speak to me as a woman who “has it all” and as a psychologist who loves seeing real women have conversations about topics we all struggle with!

Shannon S-Z · Feb 2025

Any and Kat are young enough to be my daughters, yet I find this podcast relatable, relevant, and fun. It’s definitely a bright spot in my day. Keep up the great work and keep us laughing.
