Alternative Health · Olivia Amitrano
by Olivia Amitrano
Welcome to the juiciest conversations in wellness with Olivia Amitrano, founder of Organic Olivia. "What's The Juice" is a podcast as multifaceted as its listeners — a fierce community on a courageous path of self improvement, learning, and healing. Here we share conversations that bridge traditional wisdom and modern science, offering a balance of tangible advice and perspective-shifting philosophies that will optimize your health and change the way you see the world. One week we'll spill the (herbal) tea on functional medicine for hormone imbalance, while the next we'll dive deep into psychedelic assisted therapy, codependency and learning how to say no. Olivia is a clinical herbalist, formulator, entrepreneur, and, most notably, an educator. Each episode is an opportunity to synthesize her education in herbalism, psychology, and a lifetime of health issues into actionable tips on how to not only heal but thrive. Interviews with doctors, therapists, holistic practitioners, astrologers, artists, and storytellers are brimming with raw, human moments and empowering information. Candid and ever curious, Olivia is on a mission to understand the human condition and share what she learns along the way. Above all, her goal is to connect you with the paradigms, practitioners and teachers you can rely on to help get you to the next level. Peeling back the layers isn't always pretty, but the juice is worth the squeeze.

What’s The Juice truly lives up to its name. The conversations are rich, nuanced, and incredibly nourishing. Olivia has a gift for bridging traditional wisdom with modern science in a way that feels both grounded and expansive. It’s equal parts practical and perspective-shifting, perfect for anyone committed to healing, learning, and seeing the world through a more empowered lens.
I’ve been following Olivia since 2016/2017. Yes that’s right, her content about “conspiracy theories” and questioning the system hooked me. I watched her evolve for almost a decade now and love this show. There are some episodes that may not be my cup of tea, but when there’s an episode that speaks to me, I can re listen to an episode multiple times to really hone in on those golden nuggets and learn from her or her guests. I feel like I have evolved with her and grown with her and although some of her new passions are not something I’m interested in, I can always find a deeper message in each show. I’m proud of Olivia always living in alignment with herself and always sharing her new endeavors. Her podcast is so great and I’ve learned so much from her. Keep up the great work Olivia and keep staying true to yourself!!
Olivia is not only a talented speaker and interviewer but she is a magical human sharing her multitude of gifts with us all and I am forever grateful. I have loved her podcast for YEARS however this episode rocked me to my core because of how REAL it is and also because of its timing with my own feeling that my life is falling apart after a major move, heartbreak, and career/value shift. Olivia understands the collective on such a deep level and I can't thank the Universe enough for her. KEEP GOING OLIVIA! We are here for you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and soul. GREAT PODCAST
After finding you earlier this year and listening to lots of more recent episodes, I went back to the beginning of the pod in 2020 and am feeling even more appreciation for you 🙏 I’ve applied so many ideas you’ve shared to my life (about to do a hot foot soak!) and felt happy and entertained listening in my kitchen. I don’t go on Insta so I don’t know if you’ve said anything but I miss you 🥺 I totally understand if you need a break or are hosting in person educational events as you’ve always dreamed of, but I just want you to know your absence is felt 💗 wishing you a wonderful new year & sending much appreciation for your dedication, passion, & generosity!
I used to listen to What’s the Juice religiously, but over time I found it harder and harder to enjoy. While the guests are often very knowledgeable and bring valuable insights, Olivia frequently interrupts them, usually to interject that she already knew what they were about to say and wanting to prove her own knowledge on the subject, or to pivot the focus back to her own experience. It disrupts the flow and makes the conversations feel more about validating her than learning from others. I know she’s a Leo and leans into that energy, but I personally find it hard to connect with that kind of energy, this podcast being a prime example. I really wanted to keep listening, but eventually I just couldn’t get past the constant self-insertion in interviews.
I have been listening since season 1 and was really looking forward to this new season. There are topics Olivia presents that I am so excited for and there are moments where it feels like she completely takes over and it’s almost like she’s the one being interviewed. I have stopped listening to some of the episodes half way, it just felt hard to finish. I wish there was less rant and more questions for the guest. There are times where after she is done giving feedback, or adding to an answer the guest gave, it doesn’t really lead into a question. Maybe she wants more of a conversation feel? I don’t know. Olivia is full of wisdom and knowledge, I absolutely love her herbal line, and I do trust what she puts out there but lately these episodes have been a hard listen. I don’t feel I leave the episodes with the tangible tips I use to leave with in earlier episodes.
