Listening to Season 4 Episode and 8 and I’m gratefully stunned. I needed to hear this episode today and somehow it found me. Thank you Jennifer and Elisabeth for sharing your authentic selves. I’m sharing this episode with everyone I know.
I just want to thank Elisabeth and Jennifer for putting all of this information out there. I totally relate to everything you talk about and love learning the science of it all. As a former practicing engineer I enjoy digging into the neuroscience of our brain and what I realize are outputs of my nervous system. I’ve always been highly sensitive and used to have panic attacks as a child. Over the past year or so I have gone through a full awakening. I realized I have AdHD (after having a son and daughter diagnosed) and that I’m probably on the autism spectrum. I also discovered it’s most likely linked to CPTSD. Your podcast (this season especially) has tied it all together so perfectly. I have been a member of Brain Based Wellness (on demand) for a while and once I started using neuro-tools to regulate my nervous system I realized that my outputs have changed. I do not react the way I used to and am able to show up in relationships so differently. You are both so brave and vulnerable and I know others are discovering themselves too. Thank you, thank you for sharing all of this with the world!
This podcast has been instrumental in my healing and I thank them from the bottom of my heart from helping me to understand myself. The information is presented in a way that makes the science easier to understand and each episode is hugely helpful and validating.
This podcast was referred to me by a colleague. What an informative and powerful podcast! They offer evidenced based studies along with resources. Now more than ever, we need to learn how to rewire and heal our nervous system. I recommend this podcast to anyone in the mental health field or that wants to learn about mental health.
After listening to a few episodes I wanted to know a bit of the educational background of the hosts. After about .5 hr of digging, there don't seem to be any credential's on the hosts. The last episode about healing vision after reducing cortisol in the body made me super suspicious. It seemed irresponsible to imply that healing could potentially take place. Maybe I misunderstood, but i wanted to leave a review because I feel that this misinformation is reaching a vulnerable population. Please fact check the information you read!! Living a healthy lifestyle is always best practice. 👍🏼
