Running · The Mother Runners I Whitney Heins
by The Mother Runners I Whitney Heins
This podcast features in-depth and fun interviews with mother runners (aka moms who run). Some names you may recognize, and some you may not. Every mother runner has an incredible story regardless of how far or fast they run. Embedded in each story are chapters of strength, hope, and overcoming. This podcast exists because we need to hear each other's stories to not only lift each other up, but learn, grow, and be inspired. This podcast will motivate and entertain you--while on the run, in the car line, or folding the laundry. Thanks for being here! This podcast is a SandyBoy Production.

Whitney is an incredible host who asks thoughtful questions and makes every conversation feel authentic and engaging. She’s the kind of person you want to grab coffee with, go for a run with, and keep talking to long after the conversation ends. Her warmth and genuine curiosity put both her guests and listeners at ease. As a very talented runner & mom herself, she brings a relatable perspective to every conversation with moms and athletes. I always come away from her podcasts feeling inspired. Highly recommend! 🤩
If you are a mom who runs or you love women’s running this is THE podcast for you. Whitney’s former professional TV journalist skills are on full display in the very best way. Whitney really listens to her guests and centers the show about their story. She is thoughtful, funny, kind and makes the show meaningful, informative and joyful! Not only is she an excellent host who features top notch guests, Whitney is a highly accomplished, competitive athlete and coach herself who can relate to all aspects of running and training. I love her show and if it’s not at the top of your queue, then it should be. ❤️
As a 57 year old wife, mother and grandmother runner, I find Whitney Heins to be an engaging host and source of inspiration. I have been listening to The Mother Runners Podcast from episode 1 and I truly enjoy hearing from the array of mother runner guests whose stories are entertaining, inspiring and easy to relate. Whitney asks the questions that we, as mother runners, want to ask and she has an easy going manner that allows the guest to feel at ease and the audience to feel like they are truly a part of the conversation. Whether it’s talking about an eating disorder or how to juggle motherhood and running or talking to an elite runner, Whitney is the quintessential host with expertise as a mother runner, running coach and journalist and I cannot say enough about how much I enjoy being a part of The Mother Runners community!
