What listeners say

A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.

I am in my mid fifties and about two years from retirement with a 20yo daughter in college. I listen to self improvement, leadership and retirement podcasts. The adult chair is easy to listen and so diverse in the advice provided. I look forward to each episode

I had so many defenses and limiting beliefs. Michelle’s teachings freed me. Now I can be my authentic self more and more everyday. And I love Jenny Jansen my adult chair master life coach! She helped me work through so much emotional baggage. Lighter. Freer. More me. Everyday.

Mama Bear Ann · Nov 2024

I just love listening to Michelle & her guests...topics are so relatable and necessary for us all to dive into, learn and grow into who we are meant to be!! I have been a listener since 2020/2021, came across this podcast through a google search...and let me say the best search I ever came across!! Michelle & Team: THANK U for bringing to light topics and discussions that are necessary to led positive, healthy life!

Vincentboy27 · Nov 2024

I love how Michelle breaks topics down, it gives you the ability to walk away with next steps and insights. You can definitely learn a lot from the episodes.

Lucy M.P · Jul 2024

I was totally in on the Adult Chair and paid to attend her events but this podcast has come really to the point where I can't listen. Two main issues that clearly no one is telling her. First- it's not always about Michelle. I promise that in every podcast she will find a way to talk about her son, Blake, or her marriage, or her this, or her that. Please- stop making every podcast about yourself. I get that it's your podcast but you're up against people like Mel Robbins who are able to share just enough and don't share the same tired stories in every episode. Second, stop with the constant ads. It's super annoying how you make us think that your ads are part of the show with your guest. You sound like a desperate salesman always pushing things during your podcast. I get that you have to have ads, then have them and tell people we are going to have a word from our advertisers. I doubt she'll read or listen to this and she'll probably only listen to what she wants to hear and in the meantime, we've stopped listening. So: try to do one show- just one without mentioning your son or husband. I doubt you can. And go easy on the ads. Put them at the beginning, middle, and end, not throughout. It makes you sound desperate.
