This is without a doubt my FAVORITE true crime podcast - and I’ve tried every. single. one!😂 Annie has a way of making every episode feel like we’re all just hanging out, chatting about true crime together. And I especially love the Headline Highlights when Amy comes to hang out with us too! If you have a sister, you know that natural sibling banter - these two absolutely nail it. You ladies are the best!🖤🔎
I really enjoy listening to this host. I think she is very eloquent and fair in her break down of headline cases. She’s got a very soothing voice, and I can always count on her to give the facts to back up her thesis. If you are looking to learn more about true crime cases in the news, you can’t go wrong with this podcast.
I’m absolutely obsessed with Annie Elise, I pay subscribe to her channels because I want to support her as much as I can - I want her to continue to be able to make these podcasts. My only question is: as a semi newer listener, sometimes I have not heard the backlog episodes mentioned, and I’m always told they will be put in the show notes, but I can never find the episodes in the notes?? can anyone help with this? Outside of that simple question, this is one of my go to podcast when people ask for recommendations!! I always start with 10 to life and seriously to true crime serialously, and they all become hooked as well!! I look forward to every deep dive, every headline highlight, every episode over on 10 to life, just everything you’re putting out. Please continue to be my true crime BFF, you make my long days of DoorDash-ing so much more tolerable!! all my bloody love 💗🔪😈🫣
Annie is on it!!! Like she has the updates … the cases that nobody has redone over and over by different podcasters. I can get the story and the updates weeks faster than other popular crime podcast, who give less details in 6 episodes. The voice is great her personality lets you know she truly cares about True Crime and the justice for victims. I like when she gets fired up and tells it like it is! Love love love…. Must be one of your favorites
Overall one of my favorite podcasts. I really enjoy the topics she covers. The only thing that takes me out of the top is is how millennial coded she is. She’s constantly dropping “literally”, “all the things”, plus so many more coated in a deep vocal fry. Regardless it’s a very engaging podcast and I always tune in.
The premise of this podcast is good. But the lack of research done is unfathomable. This podcasters' vocabulary is painfully limited. She uses the same words constantly & repeats an extraordinary amount of filler words & phrases. She tell listeners repeatedly she is too tired or drained to "look it up". Her go to quotes are "All the things". "You know what I mean". Is she trying to use up an allotted time?! Her basic knowledge of geography is extremely limited when google is quick & free. No care is taken in pronunciation. Why not take some time on behalf of listeners? I find it disrespectful that she does not put more attention & effort into speaking about victims of heinous crimes. Some of her assumptions about victims & suspects alike are baffling. It is often evident there is a huge deficit in understanding the workings & depth behind a crime. This is a very vague, low information podcast for a the low information listener, of which there seem to be many. Yikes.
