I’ve been listening to podcasts for years, and I usually gravitate toward true crime and murder mysteries. I came across this one through an ad and decided to give it a try. Next thing I knew, I was binge-listening to the entire Reddit series in just a few days! Some of these stories are absolutely wild! 😂 The hosts are also great storytellers, and they’re so easy to listen to. This has quickly become my new favorite podcast, and I can’t get enough. I highly recommend this one!!

Love this show. I wish there were more episodes! The hosts are so great, so easy to listen to and love their relationship and communication with each other. This is such a great concept for a show. Highly recommend if you enjoy true crime mixed with the tea! 😂

I really wanted to like this podcast because the premise of having Reddit posts hand-picked and read aloud sounded great. Unfortunately, I’ve found it difficult to enjoy because the commentary often comes across as overwhelmingly negative toward men.
It seems like, regardless of the situation, the male perspective is frequently criticized or mocked, even when the women involved in the story are doing things that could reasonably be viewed just as critically. At times, their own commentary seems to contradict the behavior described in the story.
I realize I’m generalizing their viewpoint in this review, and I’m sure that isn’t true of every episode. However, after listening to several episodes, I’ve found the recurring negative generalizations about men distracting enough that they take away from what initially attracted me to the podcast: hearing interesting Reddit stories.
One recent episode particularly stood out to me. One of the hosts described rear-ending an ex-boyfriend while following him around. Rather than seriously addressing that behavior, the hosts seemed to laugh it off. I couldn’t help thinking that if the genders were reversed, the reaction might have been very different.
Maybe this podcast just isn’t for me, but I ultimately stopped listening because I wanted to hear the stories without feeling like one gender was consistently being treated as the villain.

It seems like the hosts don’t like each other? It feels like they aren’t talking to each other, but at each other. Sabrina in particular feels like she’s trying to one up Alexis? For example, she keeps being like “I don’t know how to top this story” but it’s not about topping it. It’s about sharing with listeners and listening to one another. Plus, when they disagree, it feels like one of them has to be “right”, and can’t see the other’s perspective. Something is missing with this one, unfortunately.
