I enjoy listening to your podcast but the episode names are super messy and you need to read the description to try and figure out which are connected or part one and part two, etc. and sometimes it’s still unclear until you start listening. Why not use the same name, title name and number the related part? This would make it sooo much easier when selecting an episode to start.
For example: “Murdered through Mangos: Part 1”.

I’ve listened to many of her episodes and they’re always entertaining and detailed, but I was especially impressed by the Diddy trial coverage. So obviously researched and thorough. Mentioning Frank White being a Diddy alias and also what Biggie used to call himself was impressive because I haven’t heard anyone else realize this. Great job. In other episodes though I feel like there’s too much detail and too many tangents. I find myself thinking what is she talking about and what does this have to do with the case? ie cheesecake

It’s a very informative podcast and definitely holds your attention. It’s kind of all over the place but that doesn’t really bother me. The one big thing that does bothers me is- WHY doesn’t her “mysterious partner in crime” wear a mic?!?!? I can NEVER hear him…..? Especially when listening in the car……?
Seems kinda like a rookie mistake and I don’t think she’s a rookie?? Anyway! 7/10- recommend!

I love this podcast. I don’t really listen to true crime podcasts, just this and one other. I know other people have commented on her voice and I really like her voice. It’s very unique (mine is also unique in a different way.). Anyways, I also like her husband’s interjections of disbelief. The conversational tone of the podcast makes it easy to listen to and it sounds like she’s (or they’ve) researched the case thoroughly. Always very intriguing topics.

The narrator’s voice was so fast that I actually checked my settings for speed. It’s like she just drank a gallon of espresso before an audition for a local theatre.
Made me agitated listening to her.
And lord have mercy, she says “blood splatter.” Splatter?? If you’re doing true crime podcast, you should know it’s spatter.
I couldn’t get through one episode.

True crime is a sensitive topic that I don’t think should be treated as lightly as it is in todays day. Which makes me glad Stephane donates to organizations regarding assault, crime, etc.
but, the dumbing down of words for censorship is a bit upsetting. Like you are talking about horrible things anyways but you won’t say rape, you won’t even say sexual assault, it’s just “SA”. I get this is so YouTube doesn’t demonize but it makes light of the situation.
I also find it a bit distasteful to reenact a victim/ perpetrators dialogue, trying to show their character. Even if it is in a positive light it’s just weird to me. Like if I was killed neeevvver put words in my mouth period. I would much rather hear family/friend testimonials non reenacted.
Last point but if you have to change the victims names because they want to stay anonymous… mabye you shouldn’t be making content from it.
Hot take but they just want that part of their lives in the past, not have it come up again for millions to see again.
Overall I think Stephanie’s content is trying so hard to be “good” that it in turn dumbs down serious topics. Imo true crime should be a no theatrics, just the information, to best respect victims.
Also many episodes for months have been cutting off at the end, repeating itself.
