As a listener since episode seven, I’m really enjoying the “Rewind” episodes. It’s not like other podcasts that just repost old episodes (which is what I thought when it arrived in my feed) but an examination of the show’s past with commentary and new details between clips from the original episode. Karen and Georgia shine as hosts because they don’t shy away from the mistakes they have made and talk openly about how they could have done things differently. What sets these two apart in the normal episodes is their ability to feel like a couple of friends who came over for a chat and, with this new format, it feels like you are reminiscing with them about things you did together even though you’ve never met. I highly recommend you check the “Rewind” episodes out!

These women are dedicated, smart, and thoughtful in the way they tell their stories. I’ve enjoyed listening through the years and witnessing how they’ve changed and matured in their delivery, with more thoughtfulness and care in each new episode. They’ve excelled in their field & in the podcasting world to the point where they can donate to causes that they (and most listeners who have like minds) resonate with. An overall A++, these people have taught me & brought me so much. Give it a go. Start anywhere, but definitely listen from the start sometime. There’s so much there. <3

“And welcome! To my favorite Murder”

This is literally the best part of my podcast listening week. Wether I’m driving for work, working in my garden or making dinner for my family, Georgia and Karen have been a staple of my week. Lucky for me, I didn’t find these hilarious ladies until after their book came out. Which gave me years of back episodes to listen to. Now they’re doing rewind episodes which puts a fresh spin on the “oldies” and I feel like I’m getting a double dose of podcast gold. Thank you ladies for your tireless work that supports the stories of the marginalized and brings awareness to what we all need to remember - Stay Safe and Don’t Get Murdered. Sage advice from a Genx gal who grew up fearing one day id end up on one of those milk cartons. Love you gals! (And your whole team!)

This podcast is a staple in my life. After seven years of listening, I can confidently say it's a standout in the true crime genre. They masterfully balance delivering chilling facts about real cases and human rights issues with much-needed comic relief, making even the darkest topics engaging and relatable.

What truly sets them apart is their responsiveness to listeners. They genuinely hear suggestions and corrections, adapting their content and verbiage in a way that few other podcasts do. This commitment to their audience creates a sense of community that is both comforting and inclusive. If you're looking for a blend of humor and horror (and being on the right side of history), this podcast is a must-listen!

I used to be a huuuge MFM fan from the very beginning, they slowly got worse and worse with banter and not really caring about research. I took a break for a couple years and today I decided to give them another try. After having to fast forward 20 mins through banter and ads I finally got to the actual storytelling and THEY LITERALLY JUST READ OFF A PAGE, they don’t even read well, they’re monotone reading, and constantly stumble over the words on the page, and it was incredibly painful to have to listen to Georgia’s apathetic tone and Karen’s weird quips that didn’t even seem to fit in. This entire podcast has devolved. Save yourself the trouble and listen to people who actually care about research, story telling, and victim advocacy. So disappointed that my once fave pod is painful to even listen to now.

I used to love this podcast, genuinely a day one listener and used to recommend to anyone and everyone. But ever since COVID the politics Karen & Georgia talk is unbearable. I don’t care what your political view is. I listened to your podcast because you guys were funny and talked about murder. Unfortunately that’s just not true anymore. I miss how your podcast used to be
