I love what this podcast has to say, I just wish it were said differently. Christie is so insightful, but her upspeak drives me crazy. Every statement sounds like a question? And it shouldn’t? This podcast would benefit from some training for the host. Professional delivery is important so listeners aren’t distracted from the content.
I enjoy this podcast because both the host and guest are incredibly knowledgeable and offer a variety of tools I can easily integrate into my healing journey.
I so appreciate this podcast. The host and the guests are knowledgeable. I value the way each topic is discussed with nuance and how each person includes their own personal experience, which just adds so much insight to my own healing journey.
Whenever I listened to an episode of LMLB I finish it feeling better than before I started it. The host, Christie, is so comforting, warm, and casual in a way that feels like I’m just having a conversation with a dear friend. I love her!! I recommend this podcast to everyone that mentions chronic pain
This s a show that desperately needs a professional to come in to help the host get a handle on her inability to settle down and just…listen. I am not kidding when I say that literally every few seconds she interrupts the guest with a “uh huh”, “yup”, “mmm”, “got it”. You get the picture. I had to shut it off after a few minutes, despite being incredibly interested in the topics and guests.
I tried the episode on over exertion and gave up after listening to the host and her guest describe their own suffering in excruciating detail for 40 minutes. I understand the importance of sharing stories but had to turn it off. I’d suggest more time exploring solutions.
