I am a bit picky when it comes to podcasts. I easily bail or fast forward specific parts. I absolutely love this podcast and look forward to every episode. There is a different note of empathy for the victim and isn’t self righteous, and comes without blame of law enforcement. I enjoy the balance and the matter of fact empathetic cadence.

I love true crime and I especially love cold cases. But this podcast isn’t for me. It’s nothing but monotone reading, like how that one kid in your high school class would read when the teacher called on them. It’s hard to listen to and harder still to keep up with the story since the presentation has nothing engaging about it.

Too many amateur mistakes with the narration, including monotone voice, audio ducking or gating causing the narrator’s voice to randomly drop out.
This detracts from the show’s potential.
