As a later in life gay guy who also has ulcerative colitis (in remission and doing great, thankfully), this show feels made for me. The great thing, though, is realizing that so many of the sensitive issues Dr. Carlton and Dangilo discuss aren’t actually so specific to me. It’s been really helpful to understand how many issues we all face together. It’s just that without shows like this, often we dwell on these questions in silence. To hear these conversations in such a fun, engaging manner is outstanding. The advice is trustworthy and informed by both education and experience. You can’t ask for much more!

I recently discovered this podcast, and have been enjoying it immensely. It’s rare to find such frank, honest discussions about gay men and sex. Dr. Carlton always brings real world expertise and panache — and his humorous foil is his cohost D’Angelo. The one distraction as I have been listening to the podcast has been D’Angelos use of “like”, but that seems to have tapered down the last couple of episodes. Congrats on 2 years guys, and thanks for making my day brighter when I listen! 👌😊

So informational and entertaining. This podcast would be a 5 star for me but it’s hard to get through listening to Dangilo’s contributions with the repetitive “you know” and overuse of “like.” Doctor Carlton is succinct even when sharing personal anecdotes. More of that from everyone would help the podcast be more enjoyable.
