I’ve been a listener for the past month and a half two months. I’ve really been enjoying all of the different people coming on and telling their stories and drama. What’s left a bad taste in my mouth was the episode about the guy Andrew an his crazy Latina girlfriend. Andrew’s story was great, but OMG KATHY WOULD NOT SHUT UP!!!! She CONSTANTLY interrupted him. She CONSTANTLY talked over him, to the point he could hardly get a word in!! Most of the time I like Kathy, but that recent episode was driving me crazy! I found myself yelling at the phone because every time Andrew tried to talk, Kathy would cut him off and start blabbering about her own experiences and her own opinions about why the Latina Gf was doing what she was doing. Look, it’s fine an all to give your opinion when someone is DONE saying what they have to say, but to keep cutting that man off while he’s trying to tell the story was unbearable!!! She was suffocating in that episode!! My husband usually listens with me, an even HE was like “Damn can he get a word in?” I’m like NO! Kathy insisted on asking him a question, then before he could answer SHE was answering the question, like how insufferable can you be? Kathy, we love you but LET YOUR GUESTS TALK!! STOP Interupting them, an LET THEM SPEAK! We didn’t tune in to listen to you Kathy, we tuned in to listen to the guests!!!!

I’ve been listening to this show for a few years, and it’s consistently one of the best resources for exploring non-traditional relationship dynamics, sex, and kink. The variety of guests offers a great look into lives and viewpoints outside of the mainstream, which really challenges the idea that "traditional" norms are the standard. Kathy has built an impressive platform, but after 1,400+ episodes, she still has a bad habit of interrupting, talking over her guests, and projecting her own opinions onto them. It feels like this often steers or limits how her guests respond. I listen to hear their actual experiences, but too often the flow is broken by her assumptions. She’s admitted to not having personal experience with many of the topics, yet she seems to use her time as a host to justify speaking for them. Even within the community, everyone's experience is unique, and her perspective doesn't always align with the guest's. I’m going to keep listening, but I really wish she’d realize that when the host makes the show about herself, it just ruins the experience for the audience.

Kathy has built an incredible show that has clearly taken a lot of hard work and dedication, and we’re all the better for it. She’s thoughtful and direct, while also being respectful. She has a way of making people feel so at ease and it makes their stories so much deeper. For so many couples out there, what she is doing is a public service. I can only imagine the amount of time and effort it takes to produce a quality show, and I want Kathy to know that I for one am incredibly appreciative. I’m also fairly certain many other listeners feel the same way. Keep the faith when it turns into a grind and thank you for everything!

It’s everything you can ask for from an edgy podcast. Hot, funny, interesting, and informative. Kathy’s interviewing skills is top tier. She ask the questions we all have, doesn’t interrupt, and makes her guest feel comfortable. Well done!

Way too much of your podcast content is interrupted with excessive advertising. It takes forever to get to anything interesting and now it’s just repetitive like some of the other reviewers have said all about swinging, it’s getting boring. Another suggestion is please stop talking over your guests. You seem rude.. I’m looking for better content.

The guests and stories are entertaining most of the time. Kathy used to be somewhat bearable but over the last 2 years has become the worst part of her own podcast. Constantly interrupting her guests, speaking out of rear end half the time, and always insisting she's correct - often times about other people's stories. Also odd that someone 1500 shows in can know little about so many of the topics her show covers.
