Wine for Normal People

by Elizabeth Schneider

A podcast for people who like wine but not the snobbery that goes with it. I talk about wine in a fun, straightforward, normal way to get you excited about it and help you drink better, more interesting stuff. About half the shows feature guests and are informal but educational discussions between me and a passionate wine friend –they aren't interviews. All guests are personal friends or friends of friends in wine so like any conversation between friends, we'll talk back and forth, interrupt each other, laugh and have fun, debate tough questions, voice our opinions, and most of all, enjoy sharing our time together and with you! The Wine For Normal People book is available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and many local booksellers. Back catalog available on Patreon.com/winefornormalpeople

I love hearing the fresh perspectives; the snobbery is taken away, but full wine geek info. Helpful for all types of wine enthusiasts.

VM1891 · Mar 2025

WFNP has totally changed my appreciation of wine. I’m not trying to be a wine snob. It has helped me be able to identify the types and styles of wine that I like. It’s helped tremendously narrow down my preferences and help me find new wines.

M&AWine · Mar 2025

I have listened to Elizabeth on this podcast for several years. It is consistently fun, informative and educational all at the same time. Her casual, no nonsense approach to educate listeners on the topic of wine is very refreshing. Elizabeth has a deep knowledge of both wine and the wine industry. I enjoy listening to her show whether she has a guest or is doing the show by herself. Her classes are also informative and a lot of fun and she organizes wine tasting trips abroad. Join the community you won’t regret it!
