I just started listening to your podcasts. Today I listened to Christie talk about becoming a young mom. The thing I love about your podcasts is how you all keep real life topics in perspective. We’ve all had “something” and you remind people we aren’t alone in our struggles. I admire all of you for pulling together in good times and bad and supporting each other. What a beautiful example to others. I’m sure you inspire so many. I look forward to catching up on the episodes I haven’t heard.
I really appreciate this family’s willingness to initiate honest conversations about common life issues. The topics are very relatable. I enjoy the family banter.
Love this podcast! Intelligent medical, down to earth professionals relaying life experiences through son Kevin’s coordination. Personal, and revealing storytelling. Dr. Cindy’s recollection of gender bias during her medical training is a familiar story among many women physicians. I’ve heard many stories from my MD sister about the gender bias discrimination, and personal sacrifices that many women physicians go through when balancing work and motherhood. I also enjoyed Dr. Cindy’s reference to being a truck driver’s daughter and engaging in occasional boisterous expression when the moment called for it. Thank you for being real.
This podcast is great! The variety of topics is interesting and I love that the people are so down to earth and very relatable. I have learned a lot.
I am a three time brain surgery survivor and this podcast hits home. I’m going to share it with my friend who also had several surgeries, she would really appreciate what you guys are doing here. Thank you for this!
