I was successful in stopping drinking alcohol with the support of Courtney Anderson’s podcast. I listened to them daily, which helped me to gain control of my drinking. I lost weight. Improved my health and have better mental clarity. I would highly recommend integrating these podcasts into your journey of stopping to drink alcohol.
I have been cycling around the decision to stop drinking for a while now. Lately, the more I thought about it, the more I found myself drinking.. and heavily too. I realize this is no way to continue. Im scared, unhappy, and isolating. As much as I want health and happiness, I must deal with this. I’m ready to try to change my ways. Courtney Anderson’s podcast is giving me the tools and support I so deeply need right now. She is funny and positive, encouraging without narrow-mindedness.. My first attempt to reach out for help was the one day before I found Courtney’s podcast. The advisor was pushy and condescending, particularly bc I was not in a position to follow his advising instantly. He told me all the counselors would agree with his opinions that it was the only way if I wanted recovery . I was surprised and felt like a doormat. He actually hung up on me in mid sentence as I was explaining current circumstances. I thought to myself, if this is how people are treated when they request help, there would be very few who would continue. I ended up drinking almost a whole bottle of vodka right afterwards. I felt quite low. But today I found Courtney. I have been listening nonstop to the episodes starting with the New Year 2026 and going backwards. I am so happy to find help that is nonjudgmental and relatable to my life. There is no disrespect or condemnation. For the first time in years, I’m starting to see that I can do this with the proper tools and support. I feel hope and I’m grateful. Thank you, Courtney.
After reading Courtney’s book, I started listening to this podcast. It’s super helpful and informative for those who are sober curious or navigating life without alcohol.
Wow! I am beyond happy I found this podcast! I’ve been listening to various sober podcasts but haven’t found one that sticks. I found this specific podcast the other day and listened to a recent episode featuring Michael E. Long and the episode had me in tears. I really loved listening to him and Courtney. I already rented his book, The Molecule of More and just started reading it. I resonated with so much from this podcast! I can’t wait to continue listening and hope that it helps me on my sobriety journey.
This podcast has been a lifeline in my early sobriety. Courtney has a unique and refreshing voice. Her honesty and judgement-free approach has kept me coming back to listen to more and more episodes. Whether you’re sober curious, newly sober, or just want to support someone who is, this podcast is a wonderful resource.
