I used to look forward to a new episode every Thursday but lately it seems like the same guests over and over. I agree with another reviewer that the successes feel inflated at times too. I’d love to hear from more top 1%+ Etsy sellers and full time folks netting six figures. The only episode I’ve found helpful in the past six months was the one with Ecom Emily. She had lots of fantastic advice and shop stats to actually aspire to! I’ll happily change my rating back to 5 stars in the future if I’m feeling it. I appreciate everything Lizzie has done to help new Etsy shops.
Lizzie is so encouraging & shares so much useful knowledge in her podcast. I always look forward to the next episode!
Lizzy I have been listening for so long . Every episode is what I need to hear at that moment. Your most recent episode with Jennyfromtheshop was gold. I really need to step up and join your group so that I can actually start a shop and stop being scared dragging my feet. I know you are it for me ! Love love your podcast and what you give to people ! Look forward to it always .
I started listening to this podcast last June while driving back and forth between Missouri and Texas. I must have listened to hours and hours of episodes before I ever re-opened my Etsy shop. (Opened 15.5 years ago and never listed 1 thing. 🤣) In August , I finally did it — and honestly, I don’t think I would have without Lizzy’s encouragement. She always says there’s room at the table for all of us on Etsy. For some reason, that simple phrase gave me permission to believe there was room for me, too. Since opening in August, I’ve made 1,038 sales. I consistently average around $50 a day — even outside the holidays. Every strategy I’ve implemented and every mindset shift I’ve made came from this podcast. I use her episodes like I use my Bible. Whenever I’m stuck, discouraged, or trying to figure something out, I go find the episode that fits and listen again — kind of like turning to something steady when you need guidance. There’s always something practical and encouraging there. This podcast didn’t just help my shop — it changed how I think about what’s possible for my future. It gave me hope for retirement income and the confidence to finally start! Congratulations on 1 million downloads. ❤️You’ve probably changed more lives than you even realize — mine is definitely one of them.
I want to like this podcast so bad. I’ve been listening to it for 6 months or so, but it’s just not quite there for me. I thought this would be a podcast about how to sell on Etsy, not how to use AI. Every other episode is about how to make a ton of designs on AI really quick. It feels inauthentic and is the reason so many people are turning away from shopping on Etsy. Additionally, a lot of the advice and success claims feel inflated.
