Forge Channel is the official podcast of Forge AC—a place where transparency, ideas, accountability, and ambition come together in pursuit of a better future for youth soccer. This podcast exists to provide an inside look at Forge AC: our mission, our values, our philosophy, and our long-term vision. We believe organizations should be willing to explain not only what they do, but why they do it. Whether we're discussing player development, coaching, league decisions, or the future of the club, our goal is to have honest conversations that help our members and the broader soccer community better understand who we are and where we're headed. But Forge Channel is about more than one club. We'll tackle some of the biggest issues facing American youth soccer today. From the national landscape of leagues and development pathways to the challenges of pay-to-play, we'll examine how the game can better serve players and families. We believe talent should never be limited by financial circumstances, and we'll explore ideas that move the sport toward more accessible, merit-based opportunities. Merit matters. Players should earn opportunities through commitment, growth, and performance. Coaches should be evaluated by the quality of their development, not just their résumé. Organizations should be measured by the impact they have on players, not simply by the size of their marketing budget. Throughout this podcast, we'll advocate for systems that reward excellence, integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement. We'll also have difficult conversations. Too often, influential organizations and decision-makers choose profit over player development or protect the status quo instead of pursuing meaningful progress. When necessary, we'll challenge ideas, question policies, and hold ourselves and others accountable—not to create controversy, but because the game deserves honest discussion. We believe transparency and constructive criticism are essential to building a stronger soccer culture. Just as importantly, we'll celebrate success. We'll highlight the coaches, players, teams, and families who embody the values we believe make the game great. From remarkable player journeys and coaching breakthroughs to club milestones and community impact, we'll share the stories that deserve to be told. Expect conversations about coaching philosophy, leadership, culture, sports science, player development, competition, innovation, and the realities of building a club from the ground up. We'll welcome coaches, players, parents, and leaders from across the soccer community to share ideas, challenge assumptions, and help move the sport forward. Forge AC is a dynamic club, and this podcast will reflect that spirit. We won't always follow conventional thinking, and we won't apologize for asking difficult questions or pursuing ambitious ideas. We believe youth soccer can be better, and we're committed to being part of that change.
