I watched the show on Netflix and then found the podcast and am currently ordering the book. Similar to Molly, I was molested at age 6 and now in my 30’s began my healing journey through it all, including reclaiming my sex life. It absolutely hasn’t been easy to do or figure out where I am in all the healing. Hearing this podcast, hearing Molly’s story and the way she makes all these connections is so absolutely validating for me. It makes me feel less alone, it makes my needs feel important. This came to me at the perfect timing and I am so eternally grateful to Molly and Nikki for sharing this. Molly absolutely made an incredible impact on the world.

I ended up binging the podcast and the TV show at the same time. What beautiful and transformative storytelling they both are. As someone living with a chronic illness who has also struggled with my sexual identity, I felt something open up in me that I feel will stick with me for a long time.
In the conversations about the tv show, I was surprised that Esco Jouléy and their portrayal of Sonya were missing from the discussion. They felt like such a pivotal character- like Molly’s fairy godmother, and I really wanted to hear some acknowledgement of that and also know if there was such a role in the RL story.

I’m battling cancer right now and I’m not quite ready to watch the show on HULU. When I heard it was based off a podcast I decided to listen. I’m not scared to watch. Also not ready. Hearing Molly talking about her body and being disconnected from it resounded with me. I had a stem cell transplant in January and I’m just not coming back but I my body. I feel ready to date but was nervous. This gives me confidence. Thank you. Thank you Molly.
