Dating Intentionally

by Talia Koren

What if modern dating didn't have to feel exhausting, confusing or like a second job? Dating Intentionally is the podcast for singles who are done with outdated dating rules and are ready to date with clarity, confidence and purpose. Whether you're back in the dating pool after a breakup, using the apps for the first (or millionth) time, trying to stop attracting the wrong people, or just figuring out how to find your person in all the chaos, you're in the right place. Dating Intentionally is your how-to guide for making decisions that align with your values while finding joy in the process. Hosted by Talia Koren, Dating Intentionally dives into practical advice to help you attract better matches, build real connections and move toward the relationship you want - no matter what season of life you're in. Talia shares realistic, grounded advice from her experience going on 150 dates with over 60 people in under a year before meeting her husband, plus helpful conversations with guest experts, therapists and authors to guide you in your early dating journey. Tune in for new episodes on Tuesdays and Fridays! If you've ever asked yourself any of these questions, Dating Intentionally is for you: Why do I keep attracting the wrong people? How can I slow down in early dating? How do I stop going for emotionally unavailable partners? How many dates should we have before we define the relationship? How do I tell the difference between green flags, red flags and dealbreakers? How do I get back out there after a breakup? Where can I meet people who want a serious relationship? What are the signs they're interested in me? How do I know if we're compatible? How do I stop wasting time on dead-end dates?

I like the idea of this podcast and intentional dating, I think this concept will be becoming even bigger with the loneliness epidemic and with a larger single population. I listened to my first podcast from this show today - which was an interview. I also listened to your solo show for comparison. I think honing in on your interviewing skills will greatly improve this podcast. You narrow great talent by anxiously jumping on questions with an air of “being correct” and having your voice heard (is at least how it sounds). Interviewing is a facilitation job, it is not to prove that you are smart or special or that you know what the interviewer is talking about. You missed expanding on lots of interesting points and creating connection with who you were interviewing by the need to move forward to the next question, you kinda missed the fun of interviewing (and potentially failed to actively listen). I kept thinking, breath! It’s not about you, or being interesting or relatable or edgy. It’s about unearthing what the person in front of you is saying, and that’s interesting, edgy, cool, and relatable. You got a cool concept, you seem cool, you seem smart, but slow down and listen and hone in on how you facilitate and I think you could have an amazing show!

I found Talia on YouTube and am now in a deep dive on intentional dating since I’m in a new slow burn relationship. She breaks it all down so well and reminds me that “the norm” these days on the apps doesn’t have to be the way we choose to date. Thanks Talia!!

Drummajorjen · Dec 2025

As a women re-entering dating after a 25 year marriage, Talia’s podcast has been invaluable for making dating less scary and overwhelming. She does a great job combining her personal insights and information from the guests, in a very conversational way. It feels like listening to a friend. Talia’s non-judgmental perspective is just lovely. I have been binge-listening to so many episodes and each one has new, different, and insightful information — all presented through a lens of healthy attachment. So incredibly grateful for such a great resource!!
