CHGO has the best combination of in-depth and entertaining Chicago Bears discussion every weekday along with pre and post-game podcasts on game days and even emergency podcasts in case of urgent breaking news.
The hosts are passionate Bears fans as well as credentialed professional journalists with access to press conferences, practice sessions, training camp and both home and road games.
They are joined by weekly guests such as national media expert Brian Baldinger and Bears star tight end Cole Kmet. Highly recommended for Bears fans.

In a sea of podcasts that are all the same - buncha dudes sitting around arguing the same points over and over, CHGO Bears is a cut far above. Adam, Carm, Braggs, and friends (including Cole Kmet, Corey Wootton, and Brian Baldinger!) break down Bears football in a way that is entertaining, but also honest and fair. Much more “having beers in the backyard with some buddies who actually know football” than “sitting at a bar while the dude next to you spouts nonsense.” The whole gang is accessible, and truly interactive with fellow Bears fans, and it’s been a real breath of fresh air. Honestly, all the CHGO podcasts are great, but the Bears and Kevin’s Chicago Marathon training podcast are my favorite. Best thing I did this year as a sports fan was listen more, and joint the Diehards group to connect and chat with other awesome Bears fans. Highly, highly recommended. BEAR DOWN!

This show is likable. Solid Bears banter. But for all their access, there is never real insider insight here. Never a ‘scoop’ or anything that feels sourced from the beat or inside the team. This show sounds like fans who use Twitter to get their news - that’s fine but ultimately doesn’t add a ton. They need their local Bears Schefty or Rapoport.

Half the show is mindless (non-football related) banter or lazy takes. Obvious that the group is tasked with meeting a time requirement rather than trying to provide meaningful insight. When the show was The Chicago Audible it was at least a Bears pod. Disappointing, especially considering the resources/network they have. It’s clear there isn’t much critical thinking or appreciation of the game and story that is unfolding and changes every week. The Athletic, NBC, Chicago Bears official pod, and even The Chicago Sun-Times are far superior to name few - and there are many others. Don’t waste your time unless you’re more interested in their takes on thanksgiving food, clothing preferences, rating on each other’s ability to read ads, etc. There are too many legitimate bears stories - and sides to each -unfolding to waste your time on this one.

Hoge and Jahns is the superior podcast. This show has potential but you have to be patient enough to wade through lengthy sidebars drowning out the football content.
