It makes me sad to write this. I listened to every episode of ATN (and before that ATL), and I tried to give them a shot (honestly for too long) to figure it out after the split, but this show has really fallen off since Chris died and Dan and Marc left. I could forgive the corpo-schilling, I could forgive the bloviating about the Rams. But what is unforgivable is that this show is terribly boring. It has lost all of its personality - what made it a unique show in the first place - to be a mindless cog in the NFL media machine. You can get this info in a much more engaging format from just about any of the thousands of NFL podcasts out there. RIP Around the NFL podcast.

Love the show. If 6+ hrs of content a week seems overwhelming, you’ve gotta pick your shots and skip some downloads. It’s fine,and they do a good job of titling their episodes so you can identify which ones feel like they’re worth the time it takes to watch a feature length film.

Around the NFL is the best sports podcast that I’ve ever heard. This captures what’s good about it much better than Heed the Call does. Well thought out takes on football, minimization of bits & silliness, diversity in content. Posts too often is my only real complaint. Like way way too often.
