I absolutely love hearing Dominique’s opinion on just about any topic. This pod is as close to perfect as one can get. I would love to hear episodes dedicated to the history of football/basketball. About the big games that younger folks aren’t as familiar with. Also, more ridiculous, non sequitur type content would be fantastic. Y’all are great at making content outta nothing. All in all, an incredible pod.
The sound is inconsistent for all parties on the podcast. It fluctuates from quiet, to too loud and the bass (especially with Domonique) makes it unlistenable because you can’t understand what they are saying. Get the sound board that the Lebatard show uses. All individuals on this show sound fine on that platform.
Dominique & Charlie hit on all cylinders every episode with their humor about football and everyday life along with their football analysis and Dominique’s professional football experience as a player and player advocate with the NFLPA and if the show wasn’t already so informative, engaging and fun already the show gets even better when guests like Jeff Saturday, Mina Kimes, and Bill Barnwell & so many other great guests come on the show. Keep it coming fellas.
I listen to different podcasts and this is by far one of the best. The analysis is always on point. Dominique is very relatable and provides great insight. The chemistry he has with his team and guests is unmatched. Thank you sir! 5 stars!
I try to listen to this when it has Bill Barnwell on, as he’s one of if not the best analysts in football. Foxworth is “fine” — more talk radio quality than like insightful podcast quality, but whatever. However the other cohost Charlie renders this unlistenable. I guess he’s trying to like be a hot take provocateur? He comes off as annoyingly contrarian, and offers nothing but narrative-based takes. He not only offers no insight, but his job seems to be to chime in to disagree anytime something insightful is offered. Get that guy off the show and we could have something decent here. Otherwise, there’s just too many superior options available to listen to this.
I used to LOVE this podcast and I will probably still listen to the Bill Barnwell Monday edition but that’s it. Charlie is allowed to run the show which makes it chaotic. He could be managed and he would be fine. What is not fine are the multiple Jeff Saturday podcasts where it is all inside jokes and constant laughter. I have no idea what they are talking about and it just feels rude and exclusionary
