okay so first, to the people saying “it could have been one episode” no it could not have, it was explained in different parts, so it was easy to understand, making the show so good, because at the end of the episode there were cliffhangers making you want to know more, i love juju chang she is great, she narrated the story so well and was amazing, this was hands down the best podcast i’ve heard ever, it was so interesting and i loved every minute of it, i was biting my nails it was so interesting. so to whoever didn’t like how it was put out, i personally loved all of it sooo i def recommend ten out of ten, an amazing show, and i could listen to it over and over again. i loved hearing about what happened to the killer at the end. it was a great way to end the series with how he got sentenced !! 100% would recommend, i also loved how it was a clean story, like it would be okay for kids who like crime stories.

True crime case well told in a story telling fashion. The podcast host does an amazing job and has a lovely voice. Great work everyone who came together to produce this podcast to spread awareness for this tragic story.

I was going to give this podcast 5 stars, but was so offended by the last bonus episode…the narrator, after falling all over himself (twice!) about juju chang (sp?) and all of her credentials proceeds to have a conversation with her where they speak about the case in breathless wonder in a way that is SO INAPPROPRIATE AND DISRESPECTFUL…they behave like rubberneckers of their own podcast, whipping up the drama for the audience in the most disingenuous and self-promotional way. YUCK. They owe Laura and her family an apology. Juju even uses her own kids to amplify the emotional hooks (I know that this is part and parcel of the 20/20 Dateline playbook but it is just so gross…to use a young girl’s tragic death as a promotional hook…talk about pandering) . I was so turned off I actually had to stop listening after 5’. What on earth was the point of that?!? We’ve already listened to the podcast…we know the story…there is no new information…it’s like the hosts were drunk on the sensationalism of their own podcast. Shame on you.

Reviewers for these podcasts are so weird. Complaining about ads, waiting, claiming the narrator is AI. Ignore them all. I’ve heard this case before but I really like having more detail, and it was really told well. I got more of a sense of who Sarah was than I have from any true crime episodes on this case. I find this case so horrifying - how could friends do something like that? What is wrong with these 2 young men? It’s not even a case of a romance gone wrong or feeling the need to cover something up, just straight up greed. Hearing how she died and that he could be so callous about it was chilling. I hope Liam’s mom accepts that he’s guilty. He has a twin - how’s his twin? I found it interesting that they didn’t seem all that close. I’m glad at least that Liam cried during her dad’s sentencing statement - at least we know he’s not completely heartless, because he really comes across as a monster.

Could be great! The story is interesting but there are so many commercials and the story hardly moves each episode. The smaller, less well known podcasts are better as they actually have content and the story moves along each episode. Typical large news station podcast.
